'm probably going to unofficially offer the class in the Fall again, although it'll be mostly the same class with ADDITIONAL content (twice as much, plus working in lightroom). I'll let you know more about it as it develops.
Just wondering, have you been into photography for a long time or attended a photo college? It's just that I'm actually somewhat jealous of your stuff and you're only 20 years old. Do you have any tips or any information on how I could get my stuff to look more professional? I'd really appreciate anything you could give me. Thanks.
thanks... i originally kept it leftheavy on purpose (using a lcd monitor) it has more of a "pop" factor. BUUT... when i look at the dimmer crt monitors, it doesnt look as cool. another edit will come likely.
Here's an example of the 'larger' trouble with the picture I mentioned earlier.
The spikes on the highlights of the second picture are some stripes on their shirts, some various specks on bricks, and the occasional highlight on their face.
Take a look at your FILL LIGHT, EXPOSURE, and RECOVERY settings. Also, what type of sharpening are doing? Clarity?
I'll be honest, I the haloing is really insignificant - I can't really tell it's even there on those small pictures. Maybe you see it more clearly on larger versions.
Check your levels, for serious, though. That picture is very left-heavy. I'm pretty sure that there are no highlights (other than on the railing)
That was actually the first wedding I've shot. I'm looking to do more with my girlfriend this summer... now that I have SOMEWHAT viable proof that I can do them.
I really do like the stalker series under the new edit , by the way.
Hey, I've got the pictures up just to let you know. Let me know what you think. I really enjoyed looking at the wedding photographs. I'm amazed that you were able to get clouds like that while still getting clear detail in the people, fabric, and ground plane. Nice job. Do you photograph weddings often?

I'm doing a tutorial on ISO and why it should be set to one level or another, and it would help me out, and might you a minor level of more exposure.
My blog is here: [link]
You're welcome.

I over-emphasized it a bit.
