oy, thanks! I can't wait until my friend gets it to run - I'll have to get some nice panning shots of it :P It's such a beast.

I think it looks great, in fact I featured it in my News article on Black and White HDR

Although this is technically not a hardtop, which is a term used to define a 1949-1978 PILLARLESS fixed steel roof hybrid of a convertible and a sedan, it is an exquisite work of art. I love it. =)

Now I'm a bit stumped, maybe it's because I'm over-tired but what brand/model year is that car?

It looks to me like a 1937 Cadillac with a Buick emblem and 1950s Buick "Bombsight" hood ornament?

Wow, you know what they say about learning new things ;)

I'll find out for you, gimme a day or two (Have to get back in contact with the owner)

In any case I love your style and attention to detail. The black & white format, exquisite lighting lend themselves very well to a pre-war car.

BTW: my Mercedes is a hardtop: notice the frame-less doors, all four windows down and the complete lack of a B-pillar; which is the post that would normally separate the front and back side windows.

A picture is worth a thousand words:
